Been eating here for years. Burger so large I can never finish the whole thing! Greatest salad on the lake. Really awesome service. Clean. My favorite for comfort food. Did I say family-friendly prices?

Really nice place, totally relaxed atmosphere. I had biscuits and gravy and it was as expected. Usual small diner biscuits and gravy - which in my opinion could be much better. But when making it in large batches it's a bit trickier. So over all, I'd say that they are 4 to 4 and half stars on the food, but for service easily a 5, same with the atmosphere. If you find yourself in Lakeport it is definitely worth stopping for.

I have been coming to Renee's Cafe since long before I started doing reviews. And I have always loved my experience. Hold on while I take my first bite...mmmm ok much better now. This is mine and my family's #1 go to here in Lakeport CA, we love it here. So this time I went with the original review/rate dish for restaurants that serve burgers. The mushroom swiss. I added BBQ sauce this time and it's off the chain!!!!!... Ok bite break!!!!... Mmmmmmm!!!!! And the Carmel butterscotch shake . 15 shake flavors. And a tall glass of cold milk. And a stack of napkins ... My food came fast and my waitress is a hottie with a great friendly personality . When in Lakeport come eat at Renee's Cafe... Hands down best in town!!!!

Cute little diner with great staff and wonderful food. Had the triple decker club sandwich with fries. Bacon was crisp, toast was toasty, lettuce was crisp and the sandwich was so huge I could only eat half of it. Next time I come by here, I’ll stop in for the chicken fried steak!!

Little diner that has been in business for a long time. There is inside and outside seating, we were told to pick our own seating. Services was quick and friendly. House salad was a bit lacking, a slice of tomato and some iceberg with a tiny bit of cabbage and some chickpeas. All tasted very fresh. Split the fish and chips. Was very tasty! Hot out of the fryer, fish tasted fresh and batter was good and crunchy. Fries were crunchy from frying and chunky, just how I like them. Got a glass of water with no ice, tasted fresh. There was music playing but not too loud. Some local art is displayed, I enjoyed looking at it. Great place to stop and eat, right near the lake. Would recommend and would go again.

Great food and great atmosphere! This place never fails for a quick bite on the run, or spending a relaxing weekend with the family. Their shakes here are awesome with a variety of flavors! You can choose to eat inside with comfort or outside under their covered areas, which are great for groups or enjoying the summer weather. This place is walking distance from the new Lakeport Park, the marina or downtown shopping. Limited parking space with some street side parking.

Classic American diner food. Crispy potatoes, fluffy biscuit, tasty gravy, and perfect over easy eggs on the country skillet. The breakfast burrito was great, very clean tasting(not greasy), ripe avocados and good salsa. Both dishes came out piping hot. Our servers were very nice and checked on us often, even though we chose to sit in the back outside area with our dog. We also got milkshakes to go, they were thick and delicious! We will be coming back more often.

Simple diner with lovely staff and great food! Their breakfast is my favorite but recently I tried one of their burgers and was not disappointed! Some things are pricy, like the 4 to upgrade to seasoned, curly, or sweet potato fries but otherwise Renee’s is my favorite in town and I think for the price it’s better than other similar places.
